Ambulance Research Links

The 999 EMS Research Forum – is a partnership of academics and health care partners which aims to encourage, promote and disseminate research and evidence-based policy and practice in 999 health-care, it holds an annual conference with keynote speakers and peer reviewed posters and presentations.

 

The National Institute of Health Research– supports research in the NHS through the Clinical Research Network (CRN) structure on behalf of the Department of Health, it provides the infrastructure that allows high-quality clinical research funded by charities, research funders and life-sciences industry to be undertaken throughout the NHS.

 

The London Data Store– an initiative by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly is a free and open data-sharing portal  where anyone can access data relating to the capital. Each month the London Ambulance Service submits aggregated dispatch data of some types of incidents. If your area of interest is one of the incident types reported you can use the data store to find volumes of incidents
