NARSG places the same value on disseminating findings from research as it does on doing research. We believe that findings from research conducted within our Trusts should be shared with other professionals as by doing so we can improve the life saving care given to patients.
NARSG partnered with the NIHR Dissemination Centre to publish a themed review. “Care at the Scene” brings together evidence from NIHR funded research on urgent and emergency care outside hospital. You can read an electronic version of the publication here.
As well as disseminating findings nationally, NARSG members regularly publish papers to national and international journals.
A list of recent publications can be found by following this link to the Ambulance Research Repository (AMBER) which is managed by the Library and Knowledge Services for NHS Ambulance Services in the England:
Previous publications can give you an insight into the type of research taking place at a Trust, the member’s areas of interests and the general scope of pre-hospital research.
Most resources can also be accessed from Athens, some are open access journals from NICE Evidence Search and are available to all NHS employees.
If you need help accessing these articles, please contact your local library services.
