Every month, NARSG Compiles the Pre-hospital Current Awareness Update, the Update is a digest of  the latest research and supporting evidence for pre-hospital emergency services.

Most resources can be accessed from Athens, some are open access, journals from NICE Evidence Search  are freely available to Ambulance Trust staff.

The overwhelming majority of 999 calls are not traffic accidents or heart attacks, the role and the scope of ambulance services has changed radically over recent decades. typically the calls we respond to now involve people with complex and ongoing health problems who are experiencing a crisis.
